Ndemufayo “Chicken” Kaxuxuena- MC

Comedian “Chicken’” from Namibia who will be the MC of the first annual Lion Hearts of Africa Conference, for the SADC region.

He is also the founder of the comedy initiative Free Your Mind (FYM) in Namibia and he has a long list of performances in Namibian theatre, TV, and radio.

Dr. Chiwoza Bandawe

As the first clinical psychologist in Malawi, Dr. Chiwoza Bandawe seeks to maximise the mental wellbeing of society through good mental health. Mental Health is a state of well-being in which the individual “realises his or her own abilities, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to contribute to his or her community.”

Dr. Bandawe founded harmony Mental Wellness Solutions in 2019 in response to the growing need for mental health workshops and mental health literacy promotion. Listen to the conversation with Dr. Bandawe and Stanley about the importance of Men’s Health.

Dr. Chiwoza Bandawe is a Malawian Clinical Psychologist. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology obtained from the University of Cape Town in 2000. He is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Medical Council of Malawi. Chiwoza has run numerous workshops for schools, churches, organisations and various groups.

He is the author of three books, all published by Montfort Media.

Dr. Nixjoen Mapesa

Nixjoen Mapesa is a prominent figure in Zimbabwe’s healthcare sector, currently serving as the Acting Managing Director at Premier Service Medical Investment (PSMI). He has a long history with the Premier Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS), including previous roles as Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Board. Mapesa also has experience with the Association of Healthcare Funders of Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Health Zimbabwe.
