Our mission is to reduce the stigma of silence surrounding men’s health and wealth in the SADC region by creating a space for open dialogue, learning, mentorship and community.
Our core purpose is to tackle issues faced by men, including financial pressures, emotional health, addiction, fatherhood, mental wellness, and physical fitness.
We acknowledge the existing work being done in the region, and this platform aims to enhance collaboration amongst peers.
What we do
Bi-Monthly

We host online bi-monthly conversations with a diversity of speakers to elevate existing events within the region and tackle difficult topics with professional support.
Quarterly

Local quarterly in-person workshops and capacity-building activities to create strong community networks within countries. These will foster peer responsibility, normalise support, promote individual learning, and provide growth amongst organisations.
Annual

Our annual regional conference, hosted in different countries across the region, celebrates success. Through teamwork and creating a shared legacy, we strengthen collaboration and break down silos.
Why it matters
Encourage individuals to seek help, strengthen relationships, and utilise referrals to transform silence into action. This will ultimately enhance the community’s capacity for lasting change.
It emphasises the importance of collective defence, where the community plays a vital role in safeguarding the individual.
Ubuntu, “I am, because we are”, reflects interconnectedness.
Call to Action
- Break the silence, share your story
- Make a public pledge
- Participate in or host activities in your community
- Check in on one man today: “Are you ok?”

The inaugural SADC Region Men’s Health Conference, hosted by Kalafhi Medical Center,in Botswana, aims to foster community and facilitate knowledge sharing among men across the SADC region. Our mission is to reduce the stigma of silence surrounding men’s health and wealth by creating a space for open dialogue, learning, and connection.

As per or our commitment to the SADC region and building community, 10% of every years conference costs will be donated to an organization of choice by the host organization. This year, our receipient organization will be https://africagiving.org/.
In light of the changes in the political landscape that have shown us the importance of self-funding our development initiatives and priorities. The Africa Giving platform enables seamless giving across borders, both within Africa and globally and currently supports 140 registered African organizations spanning 16 countries.
Africa Giving raises the visibility of African Non-Profits leading change on the continent of Africa and links them up with potential givers. The platform aims to match individual givers on the African continent and in the diaspora – to organisations working on an initiative/cause that they are interested in. Our endeavour is to ease the contribution of individual givers towards Africa’s transformation.
